Joerg Hennemann, Chief Commercial Officer, bmi, commented:
“bmi remains dedicated to providing customers with the best possible service and product, and we are therefore delighted to offer extra benefits on two of our newest routes. Morocco has some beautiful and challenging golf courses and is becoming a must-visit for players of the sport. Many excellent golf courses are within reach of Casablanca and Marrakech and now customers will be able to take their sporting equipment as part of their luggage allowance for no extra cost.”
bmi launched new routes to Marrakech and Casablanca in April 2011. Direct flights to Marrakech operate three times per week (Monday, Friday, Sunday) from London Heathrow and flights to Casablanca operate four times per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Economy return fares start from £190 to Marrakech and £240 to Casablanca, including all taxes and charges.
The new services to Morocco are operated using an Airbus A319 and offer a full service Business Class and Economy cabin. bmi’s fleet of A319 aircraft is currently being refurbished with new leather seats, carpets, curtains and bulkheads as well as a new dynamic lighting system, and is scheduled to be completed by summer 201.
