Hawksbill by Rex Far from plush but absolutely picture perfect, this simple all-inclusive beach resort will win your heart as soon as you arrive. Set in 37 acres of gorgeously landscaped tropical gardens, with four sandy beaches (including Antigua’s only ‘clothing optional’ beach), Hawksbill is full of character, warmth and friendly faces.
If you want to unwind, this is the place to do it: with limited activities, you'll have no choice but to relax and soak up the breathtaking scenery. Accommodation is best described as “shabby chic” – a little rough round the edges, yet still appealing. Standards are basic and design is simple, but easy to fall in love with… and with a location this good, who wants to stay in their room? The food is superb: vibrantly fresh with lots of choice and plenty of local produce, and a good range of local and international drinks are included. Sea Grapes Bar and Grill serves a daily BBQ lunch, and is also the perfect place to enjoy cocktails at sundown.
In short, Hawksbill is that rare gem – a really special resort that’s good value for money – and attracts the most discerning travellers, who return year after year. Isn’t it time that you became one of them?!
